3      Test Items


3.1 Test Standard

Charge/discharge characteristic test

      Conduct charging and discharging tests on the battery pack according to the test methods specified in GB/T 31467.1 and GB/T 31467.2;


Conduct charging and discharging test on the battery module according to the test method procedure specified in GB/T 31486.

n  Capacity and Energy Test:

Test the discharge capacity of the battery at room temperature, high temperature and low temperature according to the test methods specified in GB/T 31467.1 and GB/T 31467.2;


Test the capacity and energy of the battery module at room temperature, high temperature and low temperature according to the test method specified in GB/T 31486.

n  Cycle life test:

           The standard cycle life and cycle life of the battery are tested according to the test method specified in GB/T 31484.

n  Power and resistance test

The charging power, discharge power, charge resistance and discharge resistance of the battery are tested according to the test methods specified in GB/T 31467.1 and GB/T 31467.2.

n  Battery system capacity loss test:

nAccording to the test method specified in GB/T 31467.1 and GB/T 31467.2, test the no-load capacity loss of the battery system and the capacity loss in storage

n  Battery system energy efficiency test:

nAccording to GB/T 31467.1, the test method of GB/T 31467.2 rules test battery system at room temperature and 0 ℃, temperature of energy efficiency

n  Charged to keep and restore capacity test

According to the test method specified in GB/T 31486, the capacity of battery module to maintain charge and restore capacity at room temperature and high temperature is tested.

n  Overcharge, discharge capacity test:

Test the over-charge and over-discharge protection capacity of the battery system according to the test method specified in GB/T 31467.3;

Test the overcharge and over-discharge capacity of the battery module according to the test method specified in GB/T 31485.

6 Details on the system

6.1 System Survey

Battery test system is designed for power battery of tests to develop a set of test equipment, can according to the requirement of the user to provide constant current, constant voltage, constant flow constant voltage mode, the pulse mode, the constant power, constant resistance, current step mode, voltage ramp mode, current slope model, variable power output function, at the same time to charge and discharge the battery pack can be any combination of various patterns, and quickly switch.

The system adopts the full digital design, which ensures the precision and timeliness of the control, makes the output stable and responds quickly. Equipped with professional PC software, CAN edit a variety of work steps, flexible, and communication with BMS and external equipment, CAN, RS485, Ethernet and other interfaces, easy to use. Real-time waveform display, data can be saved, look back, upload database.




The system test block diagram is shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2. FIG. 1 is a two-channel independent test run completely independent of each other. Figure 2 shows the dual-channel parallel test, extending the test capacity, and the customer does not need to purchase additional equipment. The system is controlled by the upper computer, and the energy of the battery can be directly fed back to the power grid when it is discharged. It can also be used to load the factory and save energy.

This system can simulate various operating conditions of new energy electric vehicles, conduct comprehensive test on battery performance of the power battery group, and help production enterprises to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each single battery through test data, so as to provide scientific data for the production, application and research of power battery.
